Roulette Tips and Rules.

Roulette is one of the simplest games to play at the casino, and it’s primarily a game of chance.
Spinning the wheel and see which number the ball lands on is the game’s basic premise, but it gets more complex when you take the colours of the numbers and the game board into consideration.
Looking at the game board, you can place wagers on individual numbers, colours, or groups of numbers.
Put your chips down and then spin the wheel – then hope that your number or numbers come up, it’s that simple!
Here are some of our top roulette tips:

ROULETTE TIPS: #1
Some of the most noticeable bets on the roulette board are evens. The red, black, odds and evens spaces will all double your money if you win. So if you put £1, you’ll get £2 back.
ROULETTE TIPS: #2
There are 37 numbers on a European roulette board, and 38 on an American board. This means any single number has a 37:1 or 38:1 odds, so you can win big if your lucky number comes up.
However, the odds are stacked against you for a reason – it’s very unlikely that the single number you choose will come up!
ROULETTE TIPS: #3
Steer clear of the five bet. Only available in the American game, you can place this bet on the 0, 00, 1, 2, and 3. However, as 0 and 00 are unique green numbers also wagering a colour bet will be irrelevant.
ROULETTE TIPS: #4
0 and 00 wipe out all outside bets, so the risk on these numbers is very high.
ROULETTE TIPS: #5
Don’t distribute your bets across the layout. For instance, don’t just bet on a series of random numbers. Bet on groups of numbers instead, such as the number one and red, this will increase your return in an accumulative bet and give you decent odds.

Rules.

Because of the complex looking game board, roulette may seem confusing to begin with, but the roulette rules are actually incredibly simple.
The word ‘roulette’ translates directly from the French for ‘little wheel’ and the basic premise of the game is to gamble on which number the ball will fall on in the spinning wheel.
To do this you will need to place chips in the corresponding numbers of the game board.
Most of the numbers are divided into black and red, although the figures 0 or 00 are green.
With this in mind, you can bet individual or groups or numbers on the colour of your number, or whether or not your number will be odd or even.
After that, just hope your number or group comes up and you could well be in the money – it really is that simple!
There is American and French roulette available to play at the Riverbelle Online Casino.
The two games are almost identical, with slightly different roulette rules; American roulette has an extra green number – 00 – bringing the total numbers to 38 rather than 37.
On the American version all of the colours are numbered, so it’s very easy for English speakers to follow.

On the French version, the numbers are not coloured on the game board, but the colour of a number is highlighted if you hover over the red or black diamonds in the right hand corners.
The board is also, somewhat unsurprisingly, in French, but hovering over a particular box will make it clear what numbers the box.
